The Dominant Function
For ISFP the most important preferences are Introverted Feeling. Your 'dominant function' is Feeling, oriented towards the inner world. This means you give importance to particular thoughts, ideas, or beliefs. You are value driven, and you often bring a sense of priority that is derived from your strong convictions. You seize upon and emphasise ideas or thoughts that have the greatest import, bringing them to the fore and stressing their significance. You assess the inherent value or importance of new ideas and beliefs, focusing on those about which you feel most strongly.

For ESFP, however, the most important preferences are Extraverted Sensing. Your 'dominant function' is Sensing, oriented towards the outer world. You bring things to fruition by getting things done, and getting them done now! You are very action-oriented, dealing with whatever tasks the current situation presents. You often spur others into action as well. You make use of your experience and utilise tools or processes of which you already have knowledge. You try to have an immediate impact on things, injecting a sense of urgency, and aiming to achieve clear goals and tangible results.

The Dominant Function
For INFP and ISFP the most important preferences are Introverted Feeling. Your 'dominant function' is Feeling, oriented towards the inner world. This means you give importance to particular thoughts, ideas, or beliefs. You are value driven, and you often bring a sense of priority that is derived from your strong convictions. Both your top-scoring types share the same dominant function. The characteristics of these two types are therefore very similar.

Final Notes
Carl Jung said: 'every individual is an exception to the rule'.

You are a unique individual. The personality types can help you to orient yourself as you find your way around your personality(true true :) ). They also provide a language (a label) that helps you explore your identity.

The Dominant Function

For INFJ the most important preferences are Introverted Intuition. Your 'dominant function' is Intuition, oriented towards the inner world. You use your imagination to create new and different ideas and perspectives. You observe the world around you, and use your imagination to consider what you have observed from a number of different perspectives. You dream up new ideas and insights, often producing radical solutions to problems. You have a long term vision, and demonstrate an apparent understanding of what (as far as other people are concerned) cannot be clearly known.

For ENFJ, however, the most important preferences are Extraverted Feeling. Your 'dominant function' is Feeling, oriented towards the outer world. This means you focus on building harmony in the world around you (KIRA XD ). You like to build rapport with people and create a positive atmosphere. You look after people's welfare. You naturally want to motivate others and make sure they are happy in each situation. You value other people's contributions, seek to develop the role that others play, and invest a lot of effort in building positive relationships. You try to overcome differences of opinion and find ways in which people can agree.

If your personality type is INTJ then you have a strong, private sense of strategic vision, both for the future and how that future will can be achieved. Your vision, or sense of knowing, may be difficult to articulate, but even if wasn't others might find it difficult to accept (e.g.: as impractical or unrealistic). Pursuing your vision might be a lonely task, therefore, as you develop and pursue plans without anyone else really understanding the nature of what you are trying to achieve.

For example, you have preferences for iNtuition. Therefore, when you try to influence someone your tendency might be to suggest imaginative or visionary ideas and possibilities. However, if you are trying to persuade someone with Sensing preferences, there is a risk that they may find your ideas unrealistic, intangible or insufficiently grounded. Therefore, if you need to persuade someone with preferences for Sensing, focus on concrete facts. State your goals clearly. Identify relevant experience or other successful applications. And discuss all the steps involved in the correct chronological sequence.
